Hello! Funny title, right? Isn’t it interesting that the word « spring » has many definitions? I won’t go into all of them but it’s a peculiar word because it involves a lot of energy to be able to emerge (yes like the plants and trees at the moment), and it can also be harmful as in the nautical term of a boat springing, causing a crack. Well, that’s how I feel at the moment. Too much is going on and it’s springing my boat, causing a very painful back pain. This kind of pain is telling me something. Time to learn and start over! I was ready to abandon FCP, but I won’t! Time to grow and not run away. Soooooo, I started a new food regimen: gluten and sugar free (I already stopped caffeine). I’m trying meditation. And more yoga and walking because I need to stay fit. I’m concentrating my time more on communicating in a non violent way thanks to Faber and Mazlish and CNV. (Yes, it still feels new to me, especially with two challenging children! It’s hard to change!) I’m trying to make things less stressful at home by spending a lot more time organizing my home and spending time with my children. Time with my dog. Time for the Town Hall. Time to work at the lycée International as a sub (the money is helpful). Time for my house in the Ardèche. Time for the husband (not as much as I’d like to because he doesn’t have time….) So, where is the time left for FCP? There are so many things I want to share and do with you. I keep thinking about it but just can’t seem to be able to do it all alone. My helper is also rocking in her boat. Helen is going to make us fantastic healthy snacks for our children and I’m totally supporting her! Soooo, how can I make this project more interesting for other people to join me? Are people interested? What is motivating me to pursue? What am I getting out of it? (Not money, that’s for sure!) What I get out of this is the pleasure of sharing within my community. A group of friends, no matter the size, that are extremely important to me. And I get really nice thank you’s and nice invitations too. I feel happy helping people! Anybody want to join my boat? Let’s talk about it! I’m proposing a café on the morning of Friday April 10 at Carabistouilles. Just to chat! Maybe there will be sunshine and we can sit in the sun!
